A fantastic night, well organised and brilliantly executed, count me in for the next one. It's a brutally fun night out for a good cause. Can't wait for the next one! Great Adrenaline-pumping fun plus it felt good to do a little something to help the less fortunate. Event was very well organized. The atmosphere was great with everyone doing it for the sport and for the charities involved. The Boxers are very fortunate to be able to fight in such a great event!! A venue and event for White Collar fighters...but organized as well as a World Class Pro Boxing tournament. Singapore, 10 April 2010This was our first time and we were very pleased to be associated with this event. We will be talking with Vanda Promotions as to how we can team up with them for future events. A really well executed event with seamless service and a real spectacle to watch. The Credit Suisse vs Deutsche Bank bout had the crowd baying for blood like feral dogs. Great food and drink and a good scrap...I imagine Rome was something like this once upon a time! Lets get ready to rumble..ding dong! This was an awesome event! Especially see our friend Steve (Tiger Shark) Clark win with a knock-out was brilliant. We had a lot of fun. An awesome event that has inspired me to focus on my own health and fitness to be half of what these guys became! One of the most nerve wracking yet brilliant nights I have had in Asia for a long time. Amazing atmosphere in the room, great support for the boxers, excellent table service, and some amazing entertainment! Congrats to all the guys, the work they put in is impressive! The most fun night out in Singapore I have had outside of Orchard Towers. The evening was "Smashing!" A great cause to see your mate get a black eye! A great evening in the company of like minded people. Electric! Pulsating! Wickedly Cool! White Collar Boxing lived up to its promise of delivering an entertaining, live sporting event like no other in Singapore! The opening act set the pace for the evening.. Thrilling and exciting!!! Fabulous night out..definitely my favourite event this year. "..Float like a butterfly....sting like a bee.....would definitely come back to watch Al Loney!" Great Entertainment, 2 great wins by the lads, quality food and free flow booze. What more do you need? The evening was incredibly impressive and well organised. It felt like we were watching professional boxers fight it out, all in search of the glory of the title! Brilliant night. Fantastic night and for such a good cause - would definitely go again! I was totally knocked out! It was a great event, excellent experience that left me breathless after all the yelling and screaming. It's amazing what these guys go through, and its awesome actually seeing where your money goes, and leaves you with a wonderful feeling and wanting to do more....great work vanda! Of all the Black Tie events I have attended so far, the White Collar Boxing event proved to be the most interesting & engaging! Along with beautiful people with a heart. Rock on Vanda!!! Unusually, for a charity event it was very clear where and how the money was being used and the tangible results that are being generated. Hong Kong, 25 March 2010The perfect mix of nicely dressed people, good food, good causes, and people beating other people up. White Collar, Black Eye, Red Carpet, Gold Star Event. Having previously participated as a boxer, I found the event was set up such that as audience you could almost feel the thrill the boxers themselves are feeling. Great! One of the best nights out in Asia this year and all for a very good cause. Well done gents. Still the best event of the year wherever it's held, it gets bigger and better each time. A boxing match is like a cowboy movie. There's got to be good guys and there's got to be bad guys. And that's what people pay for - to see the bad guys get beat. Look forward to the next, as we say "the next one, is always the best one." HF Fight Nite was the event to be in the ring, Vanda's event was the one to be enjoyed from a table. Well Organized and great fun for a wonderful cause. Very professionally managed event, great work for a worthy charity. Knocks spots off the last one I saw in an Irish working men's club. We took several of our really good clients - one of them sent the following email the next day "Thank you, that was an absolutely perfect evening, could not have been better." It was a night that combined fun, excitement, creativity, talent, flawless management and a new experience. Above all it also bought you back down to earth when you consider the charity it was in aid of. As such it was a hit on every emotion. To sum it up, pure excellence. A real spectacle! A knockout evening of entertainment!!! The Best White Collar Boxing yet - Great fights, great atmosphere. You can only imagine the adrenaline in the ring as you cheer on your friends from the floor. Maybe its time to step to the challenge to get the full experience next time... Truly, value for money entertainment and a great way to relax and get to know your clients. Solid event, hands down! If you don't get fired up, you have no pulse. I plan to fight next go around. Will attend for as long as I'm posted here in Singapore. Posh frocks, men fighting and wine what more could a lady want on a night out! One of the best nights out in Hong Kong this year! I wasn't expecting to enjoy the event as much as I did. The boxing as the focus of the entertainment was great because everyone was supporting a particular boxer and that created a fantastically charged atmosphere for the whole evening. A thoroughly entertaining, exciting evening from start to finish and it helps a very worthwhile charity. A great night out! This event was a great example of a community coming together to support a very good cause, regardless of the financial situation in the world today. The amount of training and dedication the participants had to put in was appreciated by everyone in the crowd and I think contributed to a great experience for all. What a fantastic event! I enjoyed it so much! It's easier to watch than participate but either is an exciting night. A great night out for you. A great charity donation for them. A Smashing night!! Singapore, 18 April 2009Definitely the best event on the Singapore Social calendar. A very profesionally run event with great integrity and for a very good cause. The event has given great value to our brand and we look forward to supporting and being associated with White Collar Boxing in the future. Fourteen guys worked very hard in the ring and many more behind the scenes to produce a truly memorable and highly entertaining event. I was impressed how much the boxers have achieved in terms of fitness, skill and confidence in just three months. Amateur boxing, with all the fun, excitement and fanfare of a professional calibre event, and a great party to boot! Blood, sweat, tears, drama and jarring action. That coupled with a fantastic cause as beneficiary,... you couldn't possibly ask for more or for better value. What a night out! The event was truly spectacular. Not only was it an amazing experience to attend such an event but even more amazing to watch and support my husband who fought that night. The event was great, brilliant vibe and excellent entertainment on the boxing front. A very entertaining evening, well produced and managed and all for a very good cause. Hong Kong, 26 March 2009White Collar boxing felt like attending a professional event in Hong Kong and the boxing was excellent considering the amount of time most boxers have trained in the sport. A fantastically well organsied and enjoyable night, my friends and I are looking forward to the next fight night. Definitely worth attending again! The White Collar Boxing Charity Fight Night is a fantastic event for Children's Surgical Centre. Not only does it raise significant amounts of money for our hospital, but it raises awareness throughout the region. Words cannot express our gratitude. Thank you so much! Having a fighter to support really makes the night. Singapore, 31 October 2008The event was superbly presented and ran like clockwork from start to finish. I could not speak more highly of it, and would love to return next year....although i'll probably stay on the outside of the ring! A great eveening of food, drinks and entertainment for a very worthy cause. Great event, with lots of action and good company. Watching is great fun, taking part even more so. Great event, hard boxing,oceans of booze and lots of fun means loads of money for the charities is a great combination. A Fantastic evening with a great group of people for a very good cause. Hard Hitting Action By Real People! Food, drinks and fighting, top night. The fund raising was the cherry on top of a great night's entertainment. From normal joe to boxing pro, this is how true legends are made. It was a knock out event, literally! Tension, excitement, thrills and spills round after round. A great night out, a worth cause and the boxers put on a great show for all. Hi spirits, a lot of fun and huge admiration for the guys fighting. The best night out I can remember for many years. All round good entertainment for friends and business associates. Good food and a terrific night out. It's a unique experience. This is the first time I've attended a black tie event for boxing in a hotel ballroom setting. And there's blood. It's cool and memorable. Everybody should experience an event like this at least once in their life time. This is entertainment at its finest. A GREAT change of pace from the usual weekend. It is about time Singapore had some alternative entertainment! It was a great excuse for friends and colleagues to dress up and enjoy a well organised evening that wasn't the usual boring, run-of-the-mill night out. If you want great value corporate entertainment, White Collar Boxing events are 'it' in Singapore. Having never been to a white collar charity boxing event before I wasn't sure what to expect. Blood and fighting aren't typically my thing. I have to say I enjoyed every minute. The atmosphere was fantastic. As it's for charity, there's a purpose behind the punch - and that definitely makes it more fun to watch! Thank you Vanda for training me and preparing me for the fight. Without your inspiration I would not have been in the ring on the 31st of October. The night was amazing and as someone who has performed imfront of big crowds during my playing days, the nerves and the butterflies were still there pre-fight. It was life changing for me, that is because I now know what it takes to suceed in the ring. I have thought long and hard since the fight about what to do next; With that in mind I will leave you with this. Thoroughly professional, well organised, equal matches and great sportmanship displayed by everybody involved. Your enthusiasm and dedication is infectious and has brought the best back out in me. I'm sure I echo everyone's sentiments in saying a big thank you and congratulations to Ian, Ivy and the vanda team for putting on a fantastic night on Saturday. The way you guys pulled it off against the odds was truly inspirational. A real chance of a life time opportunity to look yourself in the mirror and test yourself in the ultimate arena. The event setup in particular was absolutely incredible, I felt like Apollo Creed coming into the ring. Against All Odds.. Not even a Typhoon "9" could cancel the Event. The atmosphere was absolutely electric, the production was slick, it simply was one of those forever memorable nights..Congratulations to the Vanda team! I felt a massive adrenaline rush and very proud after the fight. Charity was the big winner. I was hoarse from cheering the other fellas on in their bouts. I've met some terrific people doing this. I felt no nerves before hand, but 6 minutes of fury took me to parts of my psyche I didn't know existed! I'm in the best shape of my life after this.... I needed it too! Not to be under-estimated. Good morning, just sending a note to say how well organized the event was in HK on Saturday night, even with the adversity of having to rearrange the dates, I thought it was an absolutely fantastic evening. The food and drink was excellent with a very attentive staff (hence the hangover on Sunday ) the light shows, music, large screen tv was great and made for a great night. Everyone on our table thoroughly enjoyed the evening and are looking forward to the next one. We go to a lot of events and this rated as one of the best. Singapore, 2007Quite possibly the best night in Singapore. Certainly a unique event with the added benefit of supporting a very worthwhile charity. Best event in Singapore in 2007. Best night of my life!I think I know what it feels like to score a goal at Wembley! Simply magnificent training, encouragement & camaraderie. Sparring taught me more in the first session than all the bag-work in the world. We were trained with great patience and humour and I personally couldn't wait to train in each week and then to fight. If you want fitness with some super-charged adrenaline, Vanda Promotion's Fight Nights are the way forward! As a sport, boxing stands out because it's unforgiving and that to me is what a challenge is all about. Watching the boxers experience the thrill of stepping into the ring, putting their hearts into the match, and filling up with the pride of accomplishment whether they win or lose makes you want to start the challenge tomorrow to get into the ring yourself. There's something for everyone - boys up on stage for the girls, blood and sweat for the guys, great food, drinks and entertainment. And it's all for a good cause. One of the best things i have done in a long time. Have a go you'll love it !!! It takes someone special to set a personal challenge which could end in public humiliation. That's what makes the event so inspiring. My waist hasn't been this size for 10 years, plus it was one of the most rewarding sporting endeavours I have ever pursued. Only a very few have the ticker to climb into the ring and go one on one. Until you have, you’ve got no idea what it takes. I felt proud and honored to be part of this life changing event. I knew that I was ready, this was massive. This was my first time attending this event and I had no idea what to expect; it turned out to be a very exciting evening. I could not believe how much I enjoyed it and I will definitely go again. The training is a test of dedication and committment while the actual event is a test of character. Everyone who made it into the ring passed. I have always wanted to do something totally unequivocal in my life. Fighting full on three rounds toe to toe with another human being on a small brightly lit stage watched by 600 screaming spectators in the surrounding darkness was totally unequivocal and a brilliant experience I will never forget. My wife’s one for all the glitzy Balls and Galas – so I was amazed when she said that White Collar Boxing was her best night out in Singapore in the last 7 years! |
